Ukrainian defenders need to get long-range missiles for deoccupation of the peninsula.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have a chance to liberate the occupied Crimea by the autumn of this year, but everything will depend on military assistance. Long-range missiles are especially needed.
Military expert Roman Svitan shared this forecast in an interview with UNIAN. He stated: “Everything will depend on the transferred forces and means. If we are given long-range missiles, then in principle we can enter the peninsula even before the end of summer, destroying with long-range missiles of the ATACMS type – like, there are a lot of them of this level – destroying about 150 Russian garrisons in Crimea. It will be easier to enter and it will be easier to de-occupy. If they do not give us long-range missiles, we will have to enter frontally. Approximately as it is now in the area of Bakhmut and the same Avdiyivka. That is, approximately, if we enter frontally, then it will be us until the fall we will mess with Crimea. But nevertheless, it is easy to liberate Crimea.”
According to Svitan, Ukraine is not given long-range missiles and Western-style aircraft due to political agreements. According to a military expert, the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not provide the aforementioned weapons so that Russia does not send the Su-35 to Iran. In this way, Ukraine “covers Israel”. As Svitan reported, the Russian Federation was ready to send fighter jets last summer. However, the deliveries did not take place, which means that there is an agreement.
Deoccupation of Crimea: current information
Russia canceled the May 9 parade on the temporarily occupied peninsula. According to the Atlantic Councilthis is due to the organization of security and reluctance to emphasize large losses of equipment.
Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the NSDC, on April 14 stated: “Crimea is the territory of Ukraine, and we will test and use there any weapons not prohibited by international laws that will help liberate our territories.”
According to Danilovthe mysterious “cotton” in Crimea may be connected with the development of new types of weapons, which are being created by the Ukrainian defense-industrial complex.
