
On April 15, rescuers continue to eliminate flooding in a number of regions of Ukraine.
According to the Hydrometeorological Center, there is a seasonal rise in the water level in the Dnipro, Desna, Seim, Pripyat, Horyn and Zahidny Bug rivers in the Volyn, Kyiv, Rivne, Cherkasy and Chernihiv regions, the official representation of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported on Saturday .
“Currently, the hydrological situation is under control. About 500 households (gardens, yards) remain flooded,” the message reads.
In the Volyn, Rivne and Cherkasy regions, more than 10.5 thousand hectares of agricultural land were flooded. Transport connections to 30 settlements were disrupted: Chernihivska – 29 and Kyivska – 1. A detour to these settlements was organized.

Rescuers from the beginning of work:
– 24.1 tons of drinking water and 230 kg of food were delivered for the needs of the affected population;
– over 1,000 people were transported through water obstacles;
– about 10,000 cubic meters were pumped out. water from 74 households.
Five “Bogun” waders and two watercraft were additionally sent from other regions to the Chernihiv region.
In Ivankiv, Kyiv Oblast due to precipitation on April 13 broke the dam of a local pond, the water fell into the river, which runs near residential streets. Two streets were flooded.
