The adjuster of Russia’s missile strikes on Mykolaiv received a prison sentence.
The court sentenced 11.5 years of imprisonment to the correctional officer who pointed Russian Kalibr missiles at Mykolaiv.
About this informs SBU press office.
A resident of the regional center turned out to be a hostile informant. At the beginning of the summer of last year, the Russian special service involved him in tacit cooperation through a representative of the “MDB of the DNR”.
The attacker collected intelligence about the locations of bases and movements of units of the Defense Forces in the territory of the region. The traitor tried to identify the combat positions of artillery and air defense systems of the Armed Forces.
SBU employees detained the traitor at the beginning of August last year during counter-subversive measures in the Mykolaiv region.
Based on the collected evidence, the court found him guilty under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
- Part 3 of Art. 114-2 (unauthorized dissemination of information about the transfer, transfer of weapons, armaments and military supplies to Ukraine, movement, transfer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or other military formations formed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, committed under martial law);
- part 2 and part 3 of Art. 436-2 (justification, recognition as legitimate, denial of armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).
