It will take 2-3 years to restore damaged buildings in Kharkiv.
There is a lot of destruction in the city due to shelling, the mayor of Kharkiv said Igor Terekhov on the air of the telethon, transmits Gazeta.ua.
According to the latest estimates, 150,000 residents of the city were left homeless.
“All this depends not only on us, but also on the funds that we will use for this, on the possibilities of the budget. We expect somewhere in 2-3 years to fully restore the city after such terrible destruction,” Terekhov explained.
Last year, 200 high-rise buildings were restored in Kharkiv. Now 50 buildings are being repaired.
