To 11.5 years in prison was sentenced the fire spotter of the Russian occupiers, who aimed Kalibr missiles at Nikolaev. About it informs Security Service of Ukraine.
As noted, SBU investigators have collected evidence of the guilt of an FSB informant operating in front-line areas in southern Ukraine – he corrected missile attacks on Nikolaev with Russian Caliber cruise missiles.
In addition, the convicted criminal collected reconnoitered locations and movements of the Defense Forces units in the region, tried to identify the combat positions of artillery and air defense systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Employees of the SBU detained the attacker at the beginning of August 2022 in the Mykolaiv region.
According to the materials of the SBU, the court sentenced him to 11.5 years in prison.
As the investigators established, a resident of Nikolaev turned out to be an enemy informant – in the early summer of last year, the Russian special service attracted him to tacit cooperation through a militant of the DPR terrorist organization.
- March 1 SBU delayed in Nikolaev, a local tactical training instructor for one of the public organizations, he is suspected of working for the FSB – allegedly under the guise of training Ukrainian defenders, the man collected intelligence about the locations of foreign weapons and ammunition depots of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
- On March 24 in Nikolaev the court gave 11 years in prison informant, on the tips of which the invaders fired at infrastructure facilities in the city, including hospitals.
