President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi on April 20 turned to to the Congress of Mexico with a proposal to help protect the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
“Your voice in the UN General Assembly and other international organizations is very important,” Zelenskyy said in a video message. – This is a vote to protect the principles and goals of the UN Charter, and therefore to protect the territorial integrity of Ukraine and all countries of the world.”

The speech of the President of Ukraine at the Congress of Mexico coincided with the Latin American tour of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov. The leading Russian diplomat visited, in particular, Brazil, and on April 20 he visited Cuba, where his colleague Bruno Rodríguez spoke against the “policy of isolating Russia.”
