The 430th day of large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun.
The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiiv and Marin directions, reported on the morning of April 29, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook. During the past day, he carried out 48 attacks on the specified areas of the front.
“Bakhmut and Maryinka remain at the epicenter of hostilities, our soldiers courageously hold the defense. In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy continues to conduct offensive actions. Battles continue in the city of Bakhmut. In addition, during the day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of Bohdanivka and Chasovoy Yaru. In the Marinka direction, during the past day, our defenders repelled enemy attacks in the area of Marinka and Novomykhailivka settlements,” the message says.
On the Volyn and Poliske directions, the operational situation has not undergone significant changes. No signs of formation of enemy offensive groups were detected. The military presence of the enemy in the border areas of the Russian Federation with Ukraine is maintained in the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions. In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy did not carry out offensive actions, actively using drones to adjust artillery fire.

In the Lymansky direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of Bilogorivka and south of Dibrova. He carried out airstrikes on the settlements of Novoyehorivka, Nevske, Belogorivka, Torske, Serebryanka, Spirne, Ivanovka. Makiivka, Nevske, Dibrova, Belogorivka of the Luhansk region were hit by artillery fire; Terny, Verkhnokamianske, Spirne, Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivsk direction, the enemy carried out offensive actions in the areas of the settlements of Avdiivka, Severna and Pervomaiske, without success. Shelled the settlements of Novobakhmutivka, Novokalynove, Avdiyivka, Vodyane, Pervomayske, Nevelske of the Donetsk region.
The enemy did not carry out offensive operations in the Shakhtarsk direction last day. He carried out airstrikes on Vugledar, Prechistivka and Shakhtarsky in the Donetsk region.
The enemy continues to conduct defensive operations in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions. Meanwhile, he shelled more than 45 settlements near the battle line. Among them are Malynyvka, Zatyshsha, Mala Tokmachka, Kamianske, Ivanivka of the Zaporizhzhia region; Respublikanets, Tomarine, Tyaginka, Kherson, Bilozerka and Yantarne of the Kherson region. There are dead and wounded civilians, residential buildings have been damaged.
The Russian occupiers continue to commit looting on the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. In particular, in the village of Bokovo-Khrustalne, Luhansk region, servicemen of the Russian occupation forces are looting the homes of local residents.
The enemy intensified filtering measures in the temporarily captured territory of the Kherson region. In particular, in the settlements of Maloleksandrivka, Novomykolaivka, Skadovsk and Lazurne, mass searches of residential premises and checking of telephones are carried out. The main attention is paid to residents who have SIM cards of Ukrainian operators.
During the day, the Air Force of the Defense Forces carried out 5 strikes on the concentration areas of the occupiers, and units of the missile forces and artillery hit 4 control points, an ammunition depot and 4 areas of concentration of the enemy’s manpower.
Russian troops have probably deployed TOS-1A thermobaric artillery systems in the directions of Avdiyivka and western Donetsk region. This indicates a potential preparation for increased offensive operations, analysts note Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
