Lithuania will provide Ukraine with another package of military assistance with ammunition and anti-drone systems. This was announced during the 12th meeting in the Ramstein format by the Minister of Defense of Lithuania Arvydas Anusauskas, the press service of the department reports.
The Lithuanian Ministry of Defense stressed that the country’s military assistance will soon reach 465 million euros. The agency does not name the amount of the new package and a specific list of its contents.
“Our support for Ukraine is an investment in our own resilience, deterrence and defense. Only a victory for Ukraine will help restore peace and stability in the Euro-Atlantic space,” Anushauskas said, stressing that Lithuania would continue to support Ukraine until victory.
The Minister said that the new package will consist of anti-drone equipment, ammunition, dry rations and other support.
He also emphasized the importance of training Ukrainian soldiers, noting that Lithuania has significantly increased the scope of training and the number of instructors assigned to them.
