The Russians militarized the island of Dzharylgach, which on May 19 was connected to the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region in the Lazurny area. This was reported in the evening summary General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the Ukrainian military, the terrorist state has deployed about 300 of its soldiers and 15 foreign-made boats stolen from the local population on the island.
The General Staff indicated that at the same time, in the Kherson and Zaporozhye directions, the invaders were conducting defensive operations.
However, the Russian army is concentrating its main efforts on the Kupyansky, Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Maryinsky directions.
“In total, 17 clashes took place in the indicated sectors of the front over the past day,” the report says.
On Kupyansky direction, the invaders do not stop trying to improve the tactical situation. The enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the Masyutovka area.
On Limansky In the direction of the Russians advanced in the area of Belogorovka, they were not successful.
On Bakhmut direction, the Russian army continued to storm Bakhmut.
On Avdeevsky direction, the invaders carried out offensive operations in the direction of Krasnogorovka – they failed.
On Maryinsky In the direction of the Defense Forces units, numerous enemy attacks were repulsed in the area of the city of Marinka.
In other directions, the invaders did not carry out offensive operations, but continued shelling.
On May 25, Ukrainian aviation launched four strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of Russians.
Missile troops and artillery units hit two manpower concentration areas, one ammunition depot, one radar station and an artillery unit of the Russian army in firing positions.
