As of 2:00 p.m., 25 people, including two children, were injured as a result of a rocket attack on a hospital in Dnipro. Volodymyr Orlov, the first deputy head of the Dnipropetrovsk OVA, announced this at the briefing.
Four wounded are being treated on an outpatient basis, the rest are in a hospital.
According to Volodymyr Orlov, 12 damaged multi-story buildings are also currently known. Experts have counted more than 120 broken windows in apartments and houses nearby, but there may be more.
Under the ruins of the building, they are looking for several doctors who have not been contacted. As Mayor Boris Filatov clarified, the rocket hit the building of the former Polyclinic No. 1, which is now a branch of the Emergency Hospital, where people with mental illnesses were treated.
“It is a miracle that the rocket arrived when there was a change of doctors,” said the mayor.
According to the prosecutor’s office, the rocket hit the building of a medical facility and a veterinary clinic. Private and apartment buildings, cars were damaged. It was reported about the two dead.
The law enforcement officers opened criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
