June will immediately begin with flares on the Sun. And during the entire first summer month, there will be several magnetic storms of varying intensity that will affect the well-being of Ukrainians.
On such days, everyone can feel tired, have a severe headache, sleep disturbances, and dizziness. After all, it has long been known that magnetic storms do not have the best effect on the human body. But weather-dependent people experience unpleasant symptoms even during weak flares on the Sun. Therefore, it is important to be ready for them.

In June 2023, there will be several weak, medium and strong magnetic storms:
- weak – June 1, 7, 16 and 30;
- middle ones — June 10, 28 and 29;
- strong – on June 2, 18, 19 and 20.
Who feels magnetic storms and how
Usually, weak magnetic storms pass unnoticed by most people. But weather-dependent people can feel the influence of flares on the Sun of any intensity. The following appear most often: reduced working capacity, general malaise, increased nervous and emotional tension.
Moderate to strong magnetic storms are experienced by everyone. On such days, you should be prepared for weakness, headache, increased blood pressure, exacerbation of some chronic diseases.
What to do during magnetic storms: how to help yourself
Even if you have a fairly stable body, it is better to prepare in advance for flares in the Sun. The day before, be sure to check whether there are medicines for high blood pressure and headaches in the home first-aid kit.
It is very important not to overload yourself with work on such days. Then the body will tolerate magnetic storms more easily. Also remember a few other recommendations:
- you should not drink alcoholic beverages, energy drinks, coffee – they will weaken the body, so flare-ups on the Sun will have a stronger effect, it is better to drink more water;
- add physical activity to your life – for example, walks in the fresh air are important on such days;
- a contrast shower will help – it will improve your well-being, so you will come to your senses faster.
Also, doctors advise getting a good night’s sleep and following a sleep schedule. On days when there are flares on the Sun, these recommendations are especially relevant.
