Canada is ready to transfer 43 short-range AIM-9 air-to-air missiles to Ukraine. Relevant message after the next Ramstein appeared on the website of the Ministry of Defense.

“Canada’s support for Ukraine is unwavering. When I travel across Canada, I see Ukrainian flags on homes, small businesses and cars because Canadians understand that Ukraine’s struggle for its security is also a struggle for sovereignty, freedom and independence,” she said.
More than 200,000 missiles have been fired since 1955, making the AIM-9 one of the most massive air-to-air missiles in history. In addition, they shot down 270 aircraft – more than any other air-to-air missile.
Since the beginning of 2022, Canada has already handed over Ukraine eight Leopard 2A4 main battle tanks and one armored recovery vehicle, National Advanced Air Defense Missile System (NASAMS) with appropriate ammunition, 39 armored combat support vehicles, anti-tank weapons, M777 howitzers and ammunition, high-resolution drone cameras , winter clothes and much more.
