Malyuk noted that the Crimean Bridge is a logistical route for the occupiers.

The head of the SBU, Vasyl Malyuk, commented on the rumors about the alleged involvement of the Ukrainian special service in the bombing Crimean bridge in the fall of 2022.
IN interview to journalist Dmytro Komarov, Malyuk refused to share any details and limited himself to hints. Separately, Malyuk noted that the Crimean Bridge is a logistical route for the occupiers.
“According to our current legislation and international customs and traditions of warfare, taking into account the fact that it was a logistical route that we were obliged to cut off the enemy. Certain measures were taken, but I will not say such details in general,” he answered head of the SBU.
Malyuk also added that the SBU is monitoring the progress of the investigation into the alleged “terrorist attack” in Russia, as part of which, according to the head of the SBU, more than 20 people – citizens of the Russian Federation – have been detained.
“In the Russian Federation, a pseudo-investigation is being conducted regarding what happened to the Crimean bridge. They qualify it in their own way as a terrorist attack, they imprisoned more than 20 of their fellow citizens… We’d better watch it,” Malyuk said.
Blowing up the Crimean bridge is the main thing
In October 2022, on the Crimean Bridge a powerful explosion rang out. “Cotton” collapsed several spans of the road surface, in particular, the explosion damaged the railway connection.
Currently, the passage through the Crimean bridge has been completely restored by the occupiers, but Ukraine has never hidden that it will be the main object of damage during the deoccupation of Crimea, which, in turn, Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the GUR, also spoke, and President Volodymyr Zelenskyi. Expert Oleksiy Arestovych later noted that, first of all, Crimea is under attack Kerch Bridge will be hit.
At the first stage, Ukrainian forces would have to deliver long-range strikes on the military infrastructure of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation, on the second – to hit other targets important for the occupiers in order to make the peninsula unusable for the troops of the aggressor country’s army, the former commander of the US Army in Europe, retired lieutenant general Ben Godges, explained earlier.
