The Russians will suffer very significant losses, the fighter emphasized.

During the last time, the artillery component from the Ukrainian side in Bakhmut increased, Oleg Kalashnikov, press officer of the 26th Artillery Brigade named after Corporal General Roman Dashkevich, told on the air of the information telethon.
According to him, Ukrainian artillery inflicted very heavy losses on the army of the Russian invaders and continues to do so. Every day it is possible to destroy such important targets as the direct artillery weapons of the enemy, their BC and armored vehicles.
“When we or our intelligence find their command posts, we also inflict fire damage on these points. So they have very significant losses because of this and their (Russian occupiers – UNIAN) artillery component in this direction has significantly decreased. And we can say that now the fire damage from our artillery on Bakhmut itself exceeds that of Russia (artillery – UNIAN). That is, we have more such quantitative and massed fire,” Kalashnikov emphasized.
In addition, the press officer of the 26th Artillery Brigade noted that through their sights, the Ukrainian Harmash are monitoring the movements of the enemy in Bakhmut, including the “Wagnerians”.
“In this case, Prigozhin’s fighters are more closely watched by our comrades who are at ground zero – that is the infantry. However, we can also observe their movements through our “eyes”. And it must be said that he (Prygozhin – UNIAN) has long been wants to leave Bakhmut, to leave as a “winner”. So that after we take Bakhmut again, he will have nothing to do, the laurels of the winner will remain with him, and he will give the defeat directly to the Russian troops,” Kalashnikov stressed.
He added that the occupiers had various forces near Bakhmut, including mechanized units of the Russian army, Russian special forces and airborne troops. But, in his opinion, all mercenaries of PMK “Wagner” will not be allowed to leave there, because there is no one to replace them. “He (Prygozhin-UNIAN) has not so many soldiers left in Bakhmut – it is about four thousand. He will probably be able to withdraw some of them. But the Russian army will not be able to replace such a large number as four thousand. They are doing very well there is a big shortage of manpower, so it is completely unlikely that he will be allowed to take his entire personnel,” Kalashnikov explained.
Battles for Bakhmut are the main thing
The Armed Forces use a “net of death” from all means of missile and artillery damage, which results in the destruction of enemy forces by 80%. Thanks to Western high-precision missile and artillery systems, the Ukrainian defenders combined and created a long-range “fire fist”.
According to the summary of the General Staff, as of the morning of May 26 the total combat losses of the Russian Federation in Ukraine were approximately 205 thousand 720 people personnel. It is known that continuous and fierce fighting for Bakhmut in Donetsk region has been going on for 10 months.
It was also reported that on May 20, the leader of the “Wagner” PMK, Yevgeny Prigozhin, announced that his mercenaries had “captured” Bakhmut, and once again announced that from May 25, his thugs will allegedly start leaving the city. The video with the process of the alleged beginning of the withdrawal of the “Wagnerites” was published by his press service. On it, Prigozhin poses for pictures next to people in military uniform and declares, “We are going to the rear areas… By June 1, we will all gather, (positions – UNIAN) will be handed over to the military.”
