The court granted the request of the prosecutor’s office and allowed a forced test for alcohol or drug intoxication of the judge, who on the night of May 26 knocked down a soldier of the National Guard to death. It is reported by the Kyiv city prosecutor’s office.

The Kiev prosecutor’s office stressed that the judge refused to be examined for alcohol and drugs, but “had visual clinical signs of intoxication.”

On the fact of an accident, criminal proceedings have been initiated under the article on violation of traffic safety rules or the operation of transport by persons in a state of intoxication, which resulted in the death of the victim.
