The head of the district court in the Kyiv region, who fatally shot a National Guardsman, denied that he was the one behind the wheel.
For example, the real driver allegedly fled the scene of the accident, write “Public” with reference to sources in the National Guard.
“The judge looked and said: ‘I wish he was alive’. When he heard that he was dead, he said that he was not behind the wheel, that he was the driver, he fled into the bushes,” said an unnamed interlocutor.
According to him, the judge refused to pass the alcohol intoxication test and has not yet passed it. At the same time, the interlocutor claims that the driver had signs of severe intoxication, and bottles of alcohol were found in the car.
“The judge is now trying to avoid a blood alcohol test. And he was drunk – a slipper. There were also bottles lying around in the car. And then a certificate will appear that he has a sick heart or had a stroke. Then there will be no responsibility.” – said the source.
According to him, now the judge is giving such testimony so that later there will be inaccuracies.
“Now he is looking for loopholes and mistakes in the legislation, as if he was issued incorrectly, because he understands this. He knows everything, he handled such cases, he knows how everything works. But we will keep a close eye on it. He is now in the police. They take some kind of testimony from him. They ask him to take an alcohol test. He doesn’t give it,” the interlocutor said.
According to the publication, the fatal accident occurred at the checkpoint on the way to Kyiv from the Zhytomyr side at the beginning of the curfew. Before the tragedy, the National Guard went out on the road to install engineering barriers.
“Cones, “hedgehogs”, such a procedure… When he was returning to his seat, a Lexus flew into him. It flew so fast that no one had time to react. The judge came out, then they found out that he was a judge when they looked at the documents.” – added the interlocutor.
