According to the activists, in 2018, his colleague, the judge of the Kyiv-Sviatoshyn Court of the Kyiv Region, Dmytro Usatiy, also committed a road accident while drunk.
«Guess who closed the proceedings due to the lack of an administrative offense? Judge Oleksiy Tandyr,” said the message.
Activists said that Roman Maselko, a member of the Avtomaidan board, filed disciplinary complaints against both judges. Initially, they decided to release Usatov, but he appealed the decision, so he has not been released yet. As for judge Tandyr, the then VRP refused to even open disciplinary proceedings against him.
According to the mass media, on the night of Friday, May 26, the head of the Makariv district court of the Kyiv region, Oleksiy Tandyr, in a state of alcoholic intoxication, beat to death a soldier of the National Guard at a checkpoint in Kyiv.
Currently, the judge is detained in accordance with Art. Art. 208, 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. Primary investigative actions are being conducted.
The issue of notifying the detained person of suspicion and applying to the High Council of Justice with a request for consent to arrest the judge and keep him in custody is being resolved.
