Advisor to the head of the President’s Office, Mykhailo Podolyak, said that any “compromise scenario” that provides for Ukraine’s renunciation of part of its territory is tantamount to admitting the defeat of democracy and the growth of conflicts in the world. About this Podolyak wrote on Twitter.
“Any “compromise scenario” that provides for the liberation of NOT all the territories of Ukraine and which “anonymous sources” in the European and American elites periodically talk about, is tantamount to admitting the defeat of democracy, the victory of Russia, the conservation of the Putin regime and, as a result, a sharp increase in conflicts in the global politics,” he wrote.
Podolyak is convinced that this is Russia’s “blue dream.”
“The question is rhetorical: why do certain public actors continue to play the “Russian media scenario” and drag out the conflict?” Podolyak noted.
- Today The Wall Street Journal, citing sources reportedthat China’s envoy to “settle” the war, Li Hui, during his visits to European countries, called for the West to call for an “immediate ceasefire”, leaving at the same time the territories temporarily occupied by Russia.
