The next meeting in the Ramstein format will take place approximately in three weeks, and then there will be more specifics about the “air coalition.” About it wrote freelance adviser to the Minister of Defense Alexei Kopytko, commenting on the results of Ramstein-12.
Kopytko noted that the topic of Western aircraft for Ukraine is now “beginning to acquire specifics.” In particular, Denmark and The Netherlands took the lead in coordinating the preparation.
“The next Ramstein is approximately in three weeks. By this time, there should be more details,” wrote the adviser to the head of the Ministry of Defense.
According to him, in addition to the “F-16 coalition”, a number of countries that do not have such fighters will offer Ukrainian pilots basic retraining.

“Another part of the countries will be able to participate in the financial support of the learning process. For aviation is not cheap,” the adviser said Reznikova.
Against this background, Kopytko noted Denmark, which “does not sound so often in public, but does a lot for Ukraine” – both as a coordinator and investing resources.
Kopytko believes that the key phrase of Ramstein-12 is as long as it takes. The partners promised to support Ukraine for as long as needed.
“In general, everything moves without any fireworks of emotions, but inevitably. The Russians certainly, at least in general terms, understand the structure of this process. They should have realized that as long as it takes is a slogan that is already backed up by serious obligations in the short and medium term. There is no good solution for them in this situation,” the adviser to the head of the Ministry of Defense believes.
That is why, in his opinion, the thesis of “immediate peace in exchange for occupied territories” with the possibility of bargaining is being “pumped” now.
- On May 25, after the 12th meeting in the Ramstein format, Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin announced that members of the anti-Putin coalition agreed plans for training Ukrainian pilots and strengthening air defense.
- General Milli after Ramstein-12 declaredthat “Russia will not win this war militarily, simply not.”
