The government obliged the managers and the Ministry of Infrastructure to regularly publish reports on the income and expenses of the Fund for the Restoration of Destroyed Property – this was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal on May 26.
According to him, the decision to improve the use of funds from the Fund for Restoration of Destroyed Property and Infrastructure was adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers on Friday.
The government has made changes to the Procedure for the use of funds collected under the United24 initiative. In particular, this will allow resources to be transferred to another chief administrator of budget funds, the Prime Minister said.
“And most importantly, we oblige managers and the Ministry of Infrastructure to publish income and expenditure reports on the website every month,” Shmyhal added.
In a speech at the government meeting, he stated that the expenses of the Reconstruction Fund should be as transparent as possible so that “donors from different parts of the world understand how their donations help Ukraine.”
In Ukraine, since May 10, the compensation program for war-damaged housing – “eRecovery” – has been operational. On the first day of the program 3 thousand Ukrainians left applications for damages.
