Russian troops dropped a 250-kilogram aerial bomb on the village of New York in Donetsk region, wounding a person, the head of the regional military administration, Pavlo Kirylenko, said.
“The Russians dropped a FAB-250 bomb on New York – 1 person was injured. The town was hit this morning – 3 high-rise buildings, a nursery school, a dispensary, a cinema hall and a gym were damaged. This is another targeted attack on civilians, another war crime committed by the Russians in Donetsk region,” he wrote in a telegram.
Donetsk region is regularly subjected to Russian attacks. The authorities are urging local residents to evacuate.
