
Mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko published a video in which he showed how the new recreation area in the capital’s Obolon district will look like. There, in particular, they will arrange a large shelter. This is Vitaliy Klitschko wrote in your Telegram channel.
“Today, as you know, we are creating a new recreation area, which many Kyivites are already waiting for. It will connect Natalka Park, the embankment and Obolonsky Island, to which a new pedestrian bridge will lead. As part of the development of the area nearby, on Pryrichnaya Street, we are building a parking lot – both for safety and for the comfort of visitors. Its underground part will be a shelter during air raids. And the above-ground part will be a sports recreation area,” Vitaliy Klitschko said.
The mayor of Kyiv also emphasized that green zones are, in particular, places for psychological rehabilitation, which is important during wartime.
“We are doing everything to make the life of the people of Kyiv comfortable and safe, even in difficult wartime conditions. Parks and green areas are places, in particular, for the psychological rehabilitation and recreation of the people of Kyiv,” noted Vitaliy Klychko.
Previously Vitaliy Klitschko reported, that the construction of the pedestrian bridge to Obolonsky Island is being carried out with the funds allocated to Kyiv as aid by the Metropolis of Greater Paris. These are earmarked funds that can be used only for this project.
