Immediately after accelerated training, the former prisoners were redeployed to reinforce one of the units of the Russian Federation, but they escaped in an unknown direction.

The occupiers at the front had an “unpleasant” situation: ran away from the Russians about 20 former prisoners. With them, the enemy expected to reinforce one of his units in the Svatovo region.
About the occasion in the ranks of the soldiers of the Russian Federation reported General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is clarified that the desertion incident took place on May 25. The former convicts, after accelerated training, did not want to die at the front for the “ideals” of Russia and, having stolen a KamAZ, fled in an unknown direction.
“At this time, their whereabouts have not been determined, the search is ongoing,” the General Staff notes.
In the Luhansk region, the occupiers were looking for half a hundred of their deserters
We will remind that currently cases of desertion in the Russian army – quite common thing in Ukraine. It is known that back in April, Russia sent the Russian Guard and the FSB to the temporarily occupied south of Ukraine in order to prevent such escapes.
At the end of April, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that on the territory of the Luhansk region the Russians are looking for at least fifty of their deserters. Then about 50 occupiers in the Starobil district decided to flee back to Russia.
