The heads of one of the district courts in the Kyiv region informed about the suspicion of traffic accidentas a result of which a soldier died, informs Office of the Prosecutor General on May 26.
“By order of the Deputy Prosecutor General and the procedural management of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office, the head of one of the district courts of the Kyiv region was informed of the suspicion of committing a fatal road accident while intoxicated,” the Prosecutor General’s Office said in a statement.
At the same time, the prosecutor’s office sent an appeal to the High Council of Justice with a request to give consent to keep the judge in custody.
Before The State Bureau of Investigation reported that on the night of May 26 in Kyiv, the head of one of the district courts of the region shot down a National Guard soldier, who died on the spot.
Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko later noted that the deceased was 23-year-old Vadym Bondarenko, who was serving in the National Guard.
Later, the court allowed the law enforcement officers forcefully test the judge on narcotic substances due to a traffic accident, as a result of which a National Guard soldier died – this was announced by the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office.
