The investigation of the scandalous case continues.
On Saturday, May 27, 2023, the Supreme Council of Justice will discuss the application for permission to arrest judge Oleksiy Tandyr, who on the night of May 26 shot a National Guardsman to death at a checkpoint in Kyiv.
About this it is said in the draft agenda of the VRP.
“Consideration of the submission of Deputy Prosecutor General Voytenko Anton Borysovych on granting consent to detain the judge,” the document states.

On the night of May 26, a few minutes before the curfew, judge Oleksiy Tandyr flew into a roadblock and fatally shot 23-year-old National Guard soldier Vadym Bondarenko.
The soldier died at the scene of the accident. Oleksiy Tandyr refused to be tested for intoxication. Later, the court authorized the compulsory collection of biological samples.
Vadym Bondarenko was left with three orphaned children. The father and brother of the national guard are defending Ukraine at the front.
We will remind, judge Oleksiy Tandyra, who on the night of May 26 beat to death National Guard soldier Vadym Bondarenko, announced a suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 286-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – committing a fatal road accident while intoxicated. The prosecutor’s office also sent a request to the High Council of Justice with a request for consent to keep the judge in custody.
