Natalya Humenyuk explained whether it is possible to stay out of danger at home during an air raid according to the “two walls” rule.
Nataliya Humenyuk, head of the joint coordination press center of the defense forces of southern Ukraine, captain 1st rank, emphasized that during the air alarm signal it is better to go to shelterbecause the rule of “two walls” is already a critical situation and it cannot always protect as reliably as a vault.
She told about this on the air of the national telethon.
“The rule of two walls can more or less help in the case when shelling takes place, as in Kherson – in the immediate vicinity, and it happens very suddenly. When you can’t even warn about artillery or mortar shelling. When the air alarm sounds – it’s worth moving to shelter,” she explained.
According to Humeniuk, it is not necessary to report what exactly the enemy is attacking with during the announcement of an air alert (ballistics, “Daggers”, artillery), so people in this case can ignore the safety rules and wait for a certain time, losing it.
Nataliya Gumenyuk also emphasized that shelter is the preservation of life, therefore it is necessary to take care of the condition of those shelters that can serve as protection and preservation of life.
We will remind Natalya Gumenyuk spoke about the Russians’ problems with logistics in the bays of Sevastopol.
