The Armed Forces of Ukraine said that the Russians have stepped up the spread of fakes about the alleged “offensive” of the Defense Forces. About it reported in the Department of Strategic Communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The military says that the enemy has stepped up its information and psychological operations – Russian propagandists plan to increase the dissemination of messages about the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is noted that in order to demoralize and misinform Ukrainians, the enemy will spread fakes about the counteroffensive, its directions and the losses of Ukrainian soldiers.
“Even if there is no counteroffensive. For this, old videos and photos have been prepared that show the damaged equipment of the dead and prisoners. As well as other fake materials,” the message says.
The statement emphasized that reliable information should be drawn only from official sources.
Earlier, Russian propagandists began to massively disseminate messages that the Armed Forces of Ukraine allegedly “started an offensive.”
- In an interview published on June 3 by the WSJ, President Vladimir Zelensky said that Ukraine is ready for a counteroffensiveand “despite the fact that the Ukrainian army did not receive all the weapons it hoped for, it is impossible to wait another months.”
- The UK Secretary of Defense believes that despite the skepticism of individuals in NATO Ukraine has a chance to win back everything seized from the Russian occupiers since 2014.
- June 4, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Painter posted a video that probably alludes to the fact that about the beginning of the counteroffensive will not be announced in advance.
