“I can’t imagine how to live without him”
– Igor was calm and sociable, – told “FAKTAM” the sister of the deceased Valentine. — I can’t even imagine how to live without him. I have two small children, my husband is at war, and my brother was my support and support, helping my mother at home. His abusers walk down the street and laugh, but my brother lies in the wet earth and will never stand on the wedding towel, will never become a father, as he dreamed. In recent years, the brother lived separately with his girlfriend on the Levanevsky massif. Engaged in rack production.
On May 14, my brother and I celebrated our birthday – we both turned 24, because we are twins. The next day he came home from work, bought himself a beer and walked down the alley to his house. On the way, he went to say hello to one of the companies. Most likely, Igor knew someone there. What happened next is unknown. But, as the brother managed to tell, they began to beat him with fists and feet for an unknown reason… Someone from the passers-by saw all this and called the police. Everyone was dispersed.

— When the brother came home, his girlfriend was shocked, — Valentina continues. – Because after the beating, they stripped him, leaving him in only underpants and socks, and stole his clothes. The phone and money were also taken. His face was blue. Igor did not go to work all week, began to complain of constant headaches, did not want to eat, did not sleep. However, I thought that it was worth waiting a few days and everything would pass. By the way, the brother managed to write a statement to the police, where he described the details of the incident.
In the evening of May 26, Igor lost consciousness near the entrance. Our relative was walking by, and while the medics were on their way, he was next to his brother, holding him all this time. Ihor’s tongue fell out… In the ambulance, the doctors said that his brother was in a coma, and he needed to be hospitalized immediately. He underwent an MRI of the brain, where a large hematoma was found. They said that surgery was necessary. We believed in a miracle, gave consent, but Ihor never came out of the coma… Doctors then said that he had a 10 percent chance of survival.

“Such serious injuries could not have been inflicted by one person”
As for those involved in the beating of Ihor Geylenko, the relatives have little information about them, because they had not heard of these persons before.
— I spoke with one of them — 25-year-old Maksym — after my brother was beaten, says the interlocutor. – He began to accuse that it was my Igor who was drunk and to blame for everything. And, according to him, “I got it on merit.” There are rumors that this guy has already offered a lot of money to bribe witnesses to say that there was no fight, only a verbal conflict.
When her brother’s girlfriend tried to ask Maxim about the reason for the beating, he threatened to do the same to her if she fought for justice. I know that all those young men have already been interviewed, but the investigators have more questions for Maksym. I do not agree with this, I am sure that all five were beaten. Because such severe injuries could not be inflicted by one person. In my opinion, no matter what happens there, it does not give a reason to torture a person like that.
As the press service of the Bilotserk police department informed “FACTS”, law enforcement officers are currently looking for witnesses to the tragedy:
