Based in New York (USA), the Metropolitan Museum of Art, as a result of discussions with FTX lenders, will return the $550,000 previously received from the platform as a donation. This follows from court materials.

The museum received two tranches from FTX-affiliated West Realm Shires Services: $300,000 in March 2022 and $250,000 two months later.
The initiative was implemented as part of an effort to return donations from politicians, as well as various organizations. According to the documents for the court, it can be about $93 million.
According to Unusual Whalesto date, only 19 out of 180 politicians who received donations from the exchange have returned the funds or declared their intention to do so.
