Mer Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov spoke about the consequences of the shelling, which the Russians carried out on the evening of June 5 from S-300 systems.

Terekhov said that as a result of the Russian shelling, the water pipeline was damaged – part of the city was left without water.
«Broken water main. There are two cisterns here, one with a diameter of 400, the other with a diameter of 150. We will need to see what kind of destruction there is after the permission of the pyrotechnicians. In addition, the road surface was destroyed, residential buildings and offices were broken, glass and windows were broken. We will examine the roof, because I believe that there were shrapnel entering the roofs. We will work all night to localize the consequences of the shelling by morning,” Terekhov said.
He noted that one of the explosions went off near the Stina pub, where the Russians staged a terrorist attack in 2014, when 13 people were injured.
«This is a very iconic location, in 2014 there were terrorist attacks here. This is the old part of the city. There are no military facilities: there is a school, office premises, residential buildings. There can be no military facilities,” said Terekhov.
In the evening of Monday, June 5, the Russians shelled Kharkiv with S-300 air defense systems. The rockets hit the center of Kharkiv and the Slobid district.
