“Russian terrorists have once again proved that they pose a threat to all living things. The absolutely conscious destruction of one of the largest reservoirs in Ukraine,” the report says.
According to the president, at least 100,000 people lived in these areas before the Russian invasion. At least tens of thousands are still there. Hundreds of thousands of people were left without normal access to drinking water, Zelensky said.
“Our services, everyone who can save people, have already been involved. But we can only help in the territory controlled by Ukraine. In the part occupied by Russia, the occupiers do not even try to help people,” the president said.
Russian propaganda media, citing the occupiers in the Kherson region, report on blocked local residents who need to be evacuated, as well as on missing people.
