Residents of Dnipro who came to the Taromsky cemetery to pay their respects to their relatives were shocked by what they saw. Unknown people gutted a large number of monuments. There is an impression that bad weather was raging in the cemetery, but this is a natural element, and human cruelty and a low level of upbringing. Currently, a police investigation is underway regarding this incident, Nashe misto writes.
“On January 10, around 9:20 a.m., the police received a report about damage to the monuments at the cemetery in the Novokodat district of the city. Investigative and operative police department No. 3 of the Dnipro district police department worked on the spot. All damage is recorded.
Now, according to these facts, the police are investigating all the circumstances of the act, establishing possible witnesses, eyewitnesses and involved persons. At the moment, the inspection is in progress”, – we were told police.
The situation was also commented on KP “City Ritual Service”.
“On February 9, employees of the cemetery on St. It was discovered that 11 monuments were damaged in Golden Autumn. This is a burial from the early 2000s. We don’t know who did it. When they saw the broken monuments, they immediately called the police,” said Valery Tetyakin, director of the utility company.
He also added that the cemetery on St. Golden Autumn is currently considered closed. New burials are not carried out there, only burials in family graves.
“Since the cemetery is closed, there is no guard there. In addition, KP “City Ritual Service” is not engaged in security, as we do not have the appropriate certificates and licenses,” Valery Tetyakin said.
We will remind you that earlier we wrotethat testing of the electronic system for reserving places in cemeteries has begun in Dnipro.
