The body of the deceased was stuck at a depth of two meters
At midnight on February 12, a 67-year-old man was found in a well in the village of Hlybokiy Potik in Tyachiv Oblast. Rescuers pulled out the body, the police opened a criminal case.
As Nataliya Batyr, spokeswoman for the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Zakarpattia region, informed ZAXID.NET, the event took place on the Central Street of the village of Hlyboki Potik. In order to get the body, the equipment of the fire and rescue unit of Tyachev was involved.
“The depth of the well is about 4 meters, but the body is stuck at a depth of 2 meters. They pulled out with a rope. Rescuers and specialists of the Citizens’ Safety Center of the Solotvyn community descended into the well with a ladder, tied the deceased with a rope and got him out of there.”Nataliya Batyr noted.
The police of the Zakarpattia region told ZAXID.NET that no traces of violent death were found during the examination of the body. Law enforcement officers have opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 115 of the Criminal Code – murder. The sanction of the article provides imprisonment for a term of 7 to 15 years.
