The Cabinet of Ministers has taken an important decision regarding housing benefits
The Council of Ministers has clarified the procedure for obtaining subsidies for the payment of public services for refugees who have left.
Citizens who went abroad because of the war will be able to receive subsidies for their accommodation in Ukraine. This is stated in Cabinet Resolution from September 16, 2022
It should be noted that according to the legislation, the payment of the subsidy ends 60 days after a person has left the country. At the same time, the government clarified that this standard would not apply “during the period of martial law in Ukraine and two months after its end or cancellation”.
At the same time, social standards of housing and social standards of housing and communal services at the household address of such persons during their stay abroad are not calculated.
We will call back, from October 1st grants and benefits will be awarded through the Pension Fund. The new algorithm will make it easier for displaced people to receive allowances and grants, the purpose of which has become problematic due to the war.
As Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said, Ukrainians will pay subsidies during the heating season 2022-2023, despite the war with Russia.
