Faced with a refusal to comply, the police managed to arrest two individuals who had preferred to flee on foot to Oullins.
This Monday evening, a police patrol had to deal with a car which refused to obey at the level of the main street of Oullins. Chased by the police, the driver and the passenger then decided to leave the vehicle and flee on foot.
The 25-year-old passenger was apprehended much further away, at street level on May 8, 1945 in Pierre Bénite, with a large sum of money on him as well as various quantities of narcotics.
A second police crew pursued the 19-year-old driver, who fled to a parking lot where several other individuals then attempted to attack the police. The latter then had to use tear gas canisters to disperse them.
The two individuals are already known to the services.
When questioned, the passenger will recognize the ownership of the narcotics discovered in the vehicle. He will also admit that the two individuals were delivering narcotics, his sidekick had the role of driver.
They are presented to the prosecution this Wednesday in immediate appearance.
