Following the sharing of an Instagram story, in which Lesley, 38, told her followers that David, 57, the former husband of Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador“filed a request for dismissal a few days ago,” a public information officer tells a much different story.
Talk to page 6 On Sept. 21, the Superior Court officer in Orange County, Calif., said there had been no motions to dismiss David’s divorce petition against Lesley “at this time.”
The agent also confirmed that there were no pending requests in the queue.
On her Instagram story on Wednesday, Lesley wrote, “My husband filed for dismissal a few days ago. Now back to your usual programming. But when Page Six reached out to her and David for comment, neither party responded.
In his Sept. 15 divorce filing, David cited irreconcilable differences as the reason he and Lesley separated after just 23 months of marriage, and he requested joint legal and physical custody of their daughter.
David also shares three daughters, including Sophie, 21, and twins Stella and Adeline, 18, with his ex-wife Shannon.
PEOPLE also noted that online court records do not yet reflect any potential change in David’s plan to divorce Lesley. However, according to a court official they spoke to on Wednesday, there is no specific time frame for processing non-urgent requests.
The outlet also shared that David and Lesley, who were known to split their time between Orange County and Park City, Utah, have a prenuptial agreement in place for the potentially impending split of their assets.
The Real Housewives of Orange County season 17 is currently in production and is expected to begin airing on Bravo later this year or early next year.
