Maggie WheelerJanice’s iconic voice continues to stand the test of time, as does the whole Friends the franchise does. The mother-of-two, who played Chandler Bing’s longtime girlfriend, sat down with HollywoodLife.com and discussed his time on the show, while promoting the new FRIENDS Manhattan Hazelnut Mocha Creamer from International Delight! Maggie talked about working alongside Matthew Perry amid his dark struggles with addiction, which he recently opened up about in his new memoir. “When we were working together, I certainly knew that he had difficulties... I lost a brother to drug addiction, so I’m no stranger to it. And there were times when we sat down and talked about it,” she recalled in an EXCLUSIVE interview with HL. “But Matthew is a consummate professional and he showed 100 per cent in his work. Even when he was at his worst, he showed up, he was on time, he knew his lines.

Maggie continued: “There was never a moment sitting on stage with him where his struggles were evident in the work. He’s brilliant, really brilliant. The actress went on to say how “incredible” it was to consider Matthew as “able to show up” so after the “dark” revelations of his book. “His humor was always there,” she recalls. “He was always responsible for that. He always knew how to do his job. He’s such a phenomenal actor and he’s so funny.
“I’m so proud of Matthew and I think he did an amazing job writing his story and sharing his fight so candidly,” Maggie said. “I think he made a huge difference in the world by doing this for so many people who are struggling in the same way.”

The parent trap the actress praised Friends and his legacy, while chatting with HL at the FRIENDS Experience in New York. “There’s just something that’s so close to the humanity of all of these characters that we don’t just see ourselves in one of them, we see ourselves in all of them,” she recalled. “I meet people who fall asleep watching the show, it calms them down. It’s their best friend in difficult times and in need. I just think it’s extraordinary.

International Delight has teamed up with Maggie to help release their new FRIENDS Manhattan Hazelnut Mocha Creamer, inspired by Central Perk’s Manhattan Mocha coffee. “I’m very happy because when we were on the show, they cast Friends these fantastic coffee makers, and so I have this beautiful espresso machine that says Friends on my kitchen counter… And this cream is delicious, so I can’t wait to add more when I get home! Maggie revealed. Could this news BE nothing better?! Yes! On shelves now nationwide, new products from International Delight FRIENDS-themed cream also comes in a Zero Sugar variety!
