Russian troops refuse to accept T-14 tanks, suitable only for propaganda
This conclusion was made by British intelligence analysts. According to them, Russia is preparing to transfer the “famous” T-14 “Armata” tanks to the combat zone.
However, the units of Russian troops stationed in Ukraine do not want to accept the first tranche of caterpillar monsters because of their very poor condition.
It is not yet clear what kind of machine malfunction caused such a reaction, but for the past three years, Russian officials have publicly stated problems with the T-14 engine and thermal imaging systems.
British intelligence recalls that back in 2021, Shoigu called the serial production of the Armata planned for 2022 only as a “pilot-industrial” batch.
“Therefore, it is unlikely that any deployed T-14 tanks will meet the usual standards in order for new equipment was considered combat-ready”, — conclude the British military.
