APU moved away from Soledar
According to the speaker of the eastern grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Serhiy Cherevaty, the defenders completely left the city.
“In order to save the lives of the personnel, the Defense Forces withdrew from Soledar and entrenched themselves on pre-prepared defense lines,” he said in a comment. BBC News Ukraine and “Suspіlny”.
According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine completed the main task: they did not allow them to systematically break through the front line in the Donetsk direction and enter the rear, and then move to the operational space.
