The EU will ban Russians from buying real estate in the European Union, – Bloomberg
Details: the restriction will affect individuals and legal entities. At the same time, the sanctions will not affect Russians with citizenship or a residence permit in the European Union or Switzerland.
On May 4, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced the sixth package of sanctions imposed on Russia after the attack on Ukraine. Restrictions include, among other things, an embargo on Russian oil exports and the disconnection of Sberbank from the SWIFT system.
All EU countries must approve sanctions for entry into force.
