The car hit a concrete electric pole.
On Saturday, February 4, around 4:30 p.m., a traffic accident occurred on Matyushenko Street in the Kharkiv district of Kyiv, in which the driver died. This was reported to the main department of the national police of the Kharkiv region.
As the investigation established, the Hyundai Elantra car was moving from Pushkinska Street towards Shevchenko Street. The driver of this car, a 42-year-old man from Kharkiv, lost control – hit a curb, after which he collided with a metal fence and a concrete power grid support.
“The vehicle overturned and the man was thrown from the passenger compartment onto the roadway,” police said. “The 42-year-old man from Kharkiv died at the scene from his injuries.”

Investigators opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Art. 286 (violation of the rules of traffic safety or operation of transport by persons driving vehicles) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
