Representatives of ARMA, as part of a business trip to the Republic of Croatia, inspected the arrested yacht, which belongs to family members of the People’s Deputy and one of the leaders of the banned OPZJ Victor Medvedchuk.
ARMA researched the specified asset and secured the elite property to preserve economic value through the auction. Since, according to the decision of the district court of the city of Split, the implementation of the measures for the transfer of the yacht to ARMA management is entrusted to the administration of the seaport, officials held a number of meetings and negotiations with representatives of the port, local law enforcement and the Ministry of Justice of Croatia. As a result, ARMA specialists managed to conduct a visual inspection of the asset and take photos of it in the city of Trogir.
The 92-meter yacht Royal Romance, transferred to the management, is one of the largest yachts in the world and its estimated value, according to information from open sources, is about 8 billion hryvnias (at the time of publication ).
The ship has dimensions of 29 m in height, consists of six floors and is equipped with two elevators. Among other things, the yacht has four decks, a cinema, a gym, a swimming pool, a spa area and a cosmetology room, as well as about 50 rooms for uses various.
It should be emphasized that the management of seized property, which falls within the limits of foreign jurisdiction, is a unique situation and has no analogues not only in Ukraine, but also in international practice. At the same time, the implementation of management measures is impossible without an examination of the asset and the collection and analysis of information about it. Despite a number of obstacles and the unprecedented situation, ARMA has reached the indicated stage and continues to work to achieve new asset management results.
