According to the general director of YASNO, Dnipropetrovsk region is currently in a difficult situation with electricity supply.
YASNO has announced which power supply restrictions will be in effect on Thursday, January 26.
About this stated general director of YASNO Serhii Kovalenko.
Tomorrow will be provided in Kyiv 61% of the city’s needs in electricity. The restrictions will be at the level of 986 MW during the day and 648 MW during the night.
Kovalenko also drew attention to the Dnipropetrovsk region, which, according to him, is currently in a difficult situation with electricity supply.
“We are still waiting for the restrictions that will apply in the Dnipropetrovsk region. During the week, Ukrenergo will set daily limits for it at the level of 1,180 MW, despite the fact that the estimated consumption is 2,200 MW. And of these 1,180 MW only about 15% goes to the needs of the population and small business,” he said.
It should be noted that the operating holding D.Solutions (known under the Yasno brand) is part of the DTEK Group and supplies Ukrainians with electricity.
We will remind that in Ukraine due to the cold weather again electricity consumption increases. Electricity production at operating power plants cannot fully cover consumption.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal warned that still “relax early”although Ukraine also “passed half of the winter with dignity.”
