The village of Pisky, Pokrovsky District, Donetsk Oblast, will continue to be under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. However, the situation there is difficult, and intense fighting continues.
RBC-Ukraine writes about this with reference to the words of the spokesman of the Eastern Group of Forces, Serhii Cherevaty, on the air of the telethon.
That night, the occupiers once again tried to storm the village, although the propaganda lies that they have full control over it.
In addition to the Sands, there are several other hotspots. The Russians are also trying to storm Krasnohorivka, and on August 13 they again attacked Maryinka.
Pisky is actually a suburb of temporarily occupied Donetsk. Serhiy Cherevaty explained that for almost half a year we have been watching how the Russian armed forces are powerless because they cannot seize this village.
The fact that Pisky is under the control of Ukraine is an indicator of the indomitability and strength of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which the occupiers do not like very much. In addition, after the capture of Lysychansk, the Russians no longer have any gains on the front. At the same time, Cherevaty emphasized that the “success” of the Russians in Lysychansk is only the result of a tactical retreat of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which helped our military to regroup and inflict more losses on the enemy.
