The Republic of Belarus plans to set up a center for the development of Russian-made Iskander operational-tactical missile systems.
This was stated by the self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, reports Military.
According to him, the agreements between Russia and Belarus provide for the transfer to Belarus of ammunition imported into the country during the joint exercise “Union Determination-2022”.
«We must master modern weapons in Belarus, because our army is on the cutting edge. It (the Belarusian army) must have the most modern weapons. Lukashenko also said that three joint military training centers with Russia have already been set up in Belarus.
