“City” of Ivano-Frankivsk – US transfers 31 Abrams – Biden tanks to Ukraine

On Wednesday January 25, US President Joe Biden announced the transfer of 31 Abrams tanks to Ukraine.

He said so in his official statement.

“Today I am announcing that the United States is transferring 31 Abrams tanks to Ukraine. We are sending an entire battalion of these tanks to Ukraine. This was recommended by Secretary of Defense Austin. This is necessary to strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities. Abrams tanks are among the most advanced in the world. They are very difficult to manage and operate. We will train the Ukrainian army and start doing it immediately. It takes time to deliver the tanks,” Biden said.
