Russian troops use artillery systems located on the territory of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant to fire at populated areas across the Dnipro, in particular Nikopol. This is reported by “Dnipro Agentin reference to the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
The occupiers continue to use the positions around the ZNPP to shell Nikopol from the side of the Kakhovsky Reservoir. ISW reports that the Russian military uses ZANP and other facilities at Energodar as shelter, where they rest and protect themselves and their equipment from armed forces strikes. After all, the enemy knows that the Ukrainian army will never strike ZANP given its security status.
The institute also reported that Russian troops had unsuccessfully attempted to storm settlements north of Bakhmut. Attempts by the Russians to advance towards Lozova in the Kherson region also failed. In addition, they carried out several limited ground attacks north, northwest and southwest of Donetsk. The Ukrainian armed forces and the Russians exchanged heavy artillery fire at Piske – according to ISW analysts, this indicates that the occupiers are unlikely to take full control of the settlement.
We will remind you that we reported earlier than the Russians pull on residential areas of Nikopol.
