The increase in prices is influenced by the war, the disruption of logistics chains, the prices of fuel and lubricants, as well as the exchange rate of the hryvnia against the dollar.
In Ukraine in the near future product prices food will increase by another 10-15%.
Such a forecast was given by the Deputy Chairman of the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Council, Denys Marchuk, writes Landlord.
According to him, the increase in prices is influenced by the war, the disruption of logistics chains, the prices of fuel and lubricants, as well as the exchange rate of the hryvnia against the dollar.
Marchuk predicts that products will become more expensive also due to the return of excise taxes on fuel.
“In the near future, due to the adoption of the Fuel Excise Law, the price of gasoline and diesel fuel will rise by around 4-5 hryvnias. That is, it will lay the foundation for the formation of prices for food products. Not the least role will be played by high inflation. We will see a rise in prices in the region 10-15%,” the expert added.
As you know, the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Council (VAR) unites more than 1,100 medium and small agricultural enterprises of Ukraine.
