Education in all schools of Melitopol, temporarily captured by the Russians, in Zaporizhzhia will begin on September 1. Classes will be held online.
As reported by Ukrinform, this was reported by Telegram Mayor Ivan Fedorov.
“The educational process in Melitopol schools will begin on September 1. The format of education is online,” the message reads.
Fedorov noted that the employees of the education department are developing a single online platform where tasks for students and all necessary information about the educational process will be posted.
Parents of students who want to enter the 1st and 10th grades must choose one of two methods of registration: submit an application to the e-mail address of the school they have chosen, or fill out and submit an online form in the “Education of Melitopol” Telegram channel .
In a video commentary, Fedorov noted that the demand for training in schools in Melitopol is quite large. This, in his opinion, shows the high level of teaching – as does the fact that eight graduates this year received 200 points when taking the national multi-subject test.
As reported by Ukrinform, on July 20, during a conference call with the heads of regions, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal stated that the academic year should begin on September 1 in face-to-face mode wherever possible, and the protective structures of civil protection of educational institutions should be brought to readiness for use as intended.
