Ukrainian athlete Lyudmila Luzan demonstrated the best result at the distance of 1000 meters.

Ukrainian Lyudmila Luzan won a gold medal at the World Championships in Kayaking and Canoeing held in Halifax, Canada.

The Ukrainian athlete became the best in the singles canoe competition at the distance of 1000 meters. Luzan covered the distance in 4.47.90 minutes, ahead of the nearest pursuer by more than two seconds.

The second result was demonstrated by Maria Mailliard from Chile, and Anika Loske from Germany rounded out the top three.

This gold award was Luzan’s first at the World Singles Championships.
